Update:!!

Ok....I guess it's been a while since I've last been on here!!! ( seven months to be exact!!) Most of you are also on facebook and know everything about my life from me posting on there, but for any of you that aren't, here is a update!! Mikaila is now 8!! She's in 3rd grade and really isn't very impressed with school this year!! She normally likes school but for some reason this year has been really hard on here. She does really well academically but socially she's really struggling. It really sucks but hopefully it doesn't last all year!!!
On the other hand....I figured Mason would do terrible in school!!! He started Kindergarden this year, and he normally has problems in new settings. He has really bad anxiety issues and if anything changes or if there is people he doesn't know around he gets really shy and clingy. He has totally surprised me this year!! He LOVES school!! He's doing really well. He already has at least one girlfriend at school! Her name is Katie and she kissed him the first day of school :) He came home and told me that his teacher told him and Katie that "There is no kissing allowed in my class!!!!" Then the second day as we were leaving Katie leaned out the window of her car and yelled "I love you Mason"!! He acted like he was embarrassed but you could totally tell that it made his day!!
Then we have Mikhi!!! He is 2 and is def. in the terrible two's!!! He gets into everything!! I thought that Mason went through a "bad" stage, but it was nothing compared to Mikhi!! I guess they look at what their older siblings do and then have to go one step farther.....I'm screwed when Maleigh starts walking!!! Anyways...he really is a sweetie and tells me all the time that he loves me and that I'm a princess :) Guess he's already figured out that he can be as bad as he wants as long as he keeps telling me that!! My one accomplishment with him, since my last post, is that he is now potty trained!!! I started working with him when he was 14 months and it only took about 2 weeks and he was totally potty trained. He did most of it all by himself. I've totally lucked out when it has come to potty training with my boys!!
And then there is Maleigh :) She is the sweetest thing ever!!! She's only 6 1/2 months and she's already starting to walk around stuff. She's def. a little spoiled!!! She's so sweet that you just can't help it :) So far Mason seems to be her favorite. All he has to do is walk into the room and her whole face lights up. Mikaila is a HUGE help with her. She loves to change diapers and clothes and stuff. They all get along so well. Lets hope that last for a while!!!

Well....that's basically the update!!! Here are the some of the latest pics that I've taken of the kids.

Funny....But so true!!

Being a parent changes everything. But being a parent also changes with each baby. Here are some of the ways having a second and third child is different from having your first.

Your Clothes
1st baby: You begin wearing maternity clothes as soon as your OB/GYN confirms your pregnancy.
2nd baby: You wear your regular clothes for as long as possible.
3rd baby: Your maternity clothes ARE your regular clothes.

Preparing for the Birth
1st baby: You practice your breathing religiously.
2nd baby: You don't bother practicing because you remember that last time, breathing didn't do a thing.
3rd baby: You ask for an epidural in your 8th month.

The Layette
1st baby: You pre-wash your newborn's clothes, color coordinate them, and fold them neatly in the baby's little bureau.
2nd baby: You check! to make sure that the clothes are clean and discard only the ones with the darkest stains.
3rd baby: Boys can wear pink, can't they?

Worries
1st baby: At the first sign of distress - a whimper, a frown-you pick up the baby.
2nd baby: You pick the baby up when her wails threaten to wake your firstborn.
3rd baby: You teach your 3-year-old how to rewind the mechanical swing.

Pacifier
1st baby: If the pacifier falls on the floor, you put it away until you can go home and wash and boil it.
2nd baby: When the pacifier falls on the floor, you squirt it off with some juice from the baby's bottle.
3rd baby: You wipe it off on your shirt and pop it back in.

Diapering
1st baby: You change your baby's diapers every hour, whether they need it or not.
2nd baby: You change their diaper every 2 to 3 hours, if needed.
3rd baby: You try to change their diaper before others start to complain about the smell or you see it sagging to their knees.

Activities
1st baby: You take your infant to Baby Gymnastics, BabySwing, and Baby Story Hour.
2nd baby: You take your infant to Baby Gymnastics.
3rd baby: You take your infant to the supermarket and the dry cleaner.

Going Out
1st baby: The first time you leave your baby with a sitter, you call home 5 times.
2nd baby: Just before you walk out the door, you remember to leave a number where you can be reached.
3rd baby: You leave instructions for the sitter to call only if she sees blood.

At Home
1st baby: You spend a good bit of every day just gazing at the baby.
2nd baby: You spend a bit of everyday watching to be sure your older child isn't squeezing, poking, or hitting the baby.
3rd baby: You spend a little bit of every day hiding from the children.

Swallowing Coins
1st child: when first child swallows a coin, you rush the child to the hospital and demand x-rays. 2nd child: when 2nd child swallows a coin, you carefully watch for coin to pass.
3rd child: when 3rd child swallows a coin you deduct it from his allowance!!

Family Day

Our church had Family Day last week-end. The Blaire family was there to sing and to speak. The service was absolutely amazing. The Blaires are definitely a talented family. After the service we had tons of food, horse rides, rock climbing wall, face painting, 4-wheeler rides, go-cart rides, a giant slide, and a obstacle course. Also the neighbor volunteered to come and make elephant ears, deep fried snickers, and all kinds of fair food. It was SO good!!!! There was also cotton candy and snow cones. Mikaila had a blast, and even Mason had some fun as long as I was holding his hand!!!! Mikhi slept through half of it, but that made it SO much easier for me!!! I of course wore high heeled shoes, not even thinking that the whole thing was in a field, and by the end of the day, I was seriously wanting to cry!!! Other than that though, we all had a blast.

Mikaila's first day of school.

Ok...I know these are really late, but as I mentioned below, I lost my camera the first day of school so I had to re-due the pictures!!!! Here is Mikaila the "first day of school". She loves school this year, and is doing really well so far. Her favorite thing though is riding her bike to school!!! She expects me to do this every morning and every afternoon!!!! Its getting so cold in the morning that I've been trying to beg out of it, but she still ends up talking me into it quite often!!!

Mikhi...

Mikhi absolutely loves to help with everything!!! Most of the time he is way more of a hindrance than a help, but I think its still cute to see him try!!! Here is a couple of pictures of him helping Andy mow our front yard. Since his legs are so small it took forever, but luckily after a few rows he got tired of helping and Andy could finish by his self!!!
